The driving is flat and straightforward, with no passes or tunnels. East of Columbia you continue toward Florence, where the route bends toward the coast.
The Columbia to Florence Leg and SC-22
The back half is the home stretch. From Columbia you stay on I-20 toward Florence, then pick up US-76 and the SC-22 Conway Bypass, which steers you around Conway and toward the beach. Robert Edge Parkway carries you the final miles into North Myrtle Beach. It is well signed and easy after the long I-20 run.
A Good Midpoint and Fuel Stops
